Re: Rules messed up on sync

Thanks. I just had a thought and I thought I should mention it. I have installed EZOS on both my laptop and my desktop - (hope that's OK!) I use only one or the other at a time - I use my laptop to synchronise (wireless) if I'm working at that machine and my desktop (Ethernet) if I happen to be ther...

Re: Rules messed up on sync

Thanks for the quick reply. I will do as you suggest - and will advise when I have done so. I have found that email rules are returned to the default (no target folder specified) option intermittently. On my last sync (from laptop to desktop), virtually all the rules on my desktop had been reset aft...

I know that EZOS will not synchronise rules but does anyone know of any way I can stop the rules on each machine being messed up (the rule's destination folder is reset to the default after syncing) and pretty much every rule has to have the destination folder reassig...

Re: EZOS folders not deleting

A quick update. I decided to try restarting my machine in Safe Mode and then opened Outlook. I was able to delete the errant folders in the normal way whilst in safe mode. However, when I restarted the machine in normal mode and then started Outlook (both in normal and safe mode (CTRL + icon)), I wa...

Re: EZOS folders not deleting

Thanks for the reply. I did as you suggested and restarted Outlook in safe mode. All attempts to delete the five EZOS folders sitting in the Deleted Items folder failed. I tried using the context menu (right-click | Delete) option for each folder individually and also to delete all the folders by us...

Re: EZOS folders not deleting

Hi. I scanned the pst file (I had already tried that earlier). The scan found errors and I repaired the file fromthe ScanPST dialog. When the scan and repair had completed I checked my pst file - the EZOS folders are still sitting in the Deleted Items folder and cannot be deleted. The same error mes...

EZOS folders not deleting

Hi, I have been using EZOutlookSync Pro 2.04 (just upgraded to 2.1 today) with Outlook 2007 and Windows XP SP3. A few days ago whilst synchronising my pst file to my laptop, I got a MAPI error (I foolishly didn't log the error code) which I suspect may have been due to a poor wireless network connec...
