When I get home after traveling I like to make my Desktop mail look exactly like my laptop. Many times I will have created new sub folders in Personal folders on my Laptop while traveling.. How can I sync those new folders (not just my inbox) so my Desktop is exactly how my laptop is when I get home and want to do work more comfortably?
I do a Source>Target type syncs but new folders are NEVER transferred to Target
How can I get this to happen?
Are new folders added after a sync?
Re: Are new folders added after a sync?
If you want 100% similarity in between your desktop and laptop computers, please consider using the both-way synchronization option.
Re: Are new folders added after a sync?
Unfortunately-that makes it so when I get home-the dozens of emails I have on the home pc show up in the inbox of the laptop-after I have moved dozens of them during the work week.
Sometimes I have a hundred emails I have moved to folders, deleted etc and the last thing I want is to have them ALL back in my laptop inbox.
Can I just copy and paste the outlook.pst file and not sync?

Yes, it's possible if your PST is not of a big size.
