Mapi Error 8004010A

I recently upgraded to EZoutlooksync Version 1.61. Until then everything seemed to work fine. Now I am getting a Mapi Error 8004010A whenever the inbox is synchronized. Other folders seem to synchronize ok. I have used the unlocker tool. This did not help. Can anyone help? My outlook is version 2003 with SP2.

Did you have Outlook closed during the synchronization? If you exclude just the Inbox, will synchronization finish ok? Thanks.

Yes, Outlook was definately closed on both PC's. I tried to sync without the inbox, same problem. Now it seems that the error occurs when the outbox tries to sync. So I also excluded the outbox. Now it seems the error occurs when the Personal Folder syncs. All the folder I created myself (i.e customer folder, vendor folders) and also Calendar, Tasks, Sent items, Journal and Contacts sync ok.

No good ideas out there for this problem?

The EZOutlooksync program is pretty much worthless to me if I can't sync the inbox and outbook. Any good suggestion how to solve this problem is highly appreciated.

Here're some common guidelines:

Outlook should be closed prior synchronization.
MAPI error appears when pst file is used by another application. Try
following actions (first of all restart your PC and try to sync again):
1. Close Outlook.
2. Make sure that the PST file is not being used by any other program
3. Run the Unlocker tool: http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/
