How do I use an .ost data file as the source file

Post by Scott R »

I want to sync my home desktop calendar (O-2003) with my laptop calendar (O-2003 PE). The Outlook data file on my laptop is an ost extension, not pst -- which I suppose is because it is somehow hooked up to my server at work (and MAPI whatever that is).

I cannot even select the .ost as the source file from the sync program.

Am I hosed? Thoughts?

Hello, *.ost are Exchange offline files, we can't synchronize them.

So, I can't use the product if my Outlook is administered on a LAN?

Outlook can be administered on the LAN, but still use PST file- in which case our product will be of use.
