unsuccessful syncing

Hi thereā€¦I am trying to sync up my outlook and it appears to be going through successfully without any error messages, but it is not actually syncing? the files on both version of outlook are unchanged...

someone one from customer service emailed me the link to an updated version and that seemed to solve the problem...
