Outlook<->Android Sync 1.4

Post by gcr99 »

Problem with the new version, 32bit. Running on Win 7 64bit.

When starting the program, it does not load completely but hangs.

Task Manager shows two processes running:
OutlAndrSync 16% CPU 7,328k
OutlAndrSync 2% CPU 848k

Please try to uninstall the program and then reinstall again. Will it help?

I already tried that, and I have just done it again.
There is no difference. it still hangs.

I reinstalled v 1.3 and it seems to work OK with the new Android app.
But of course I would like to use the new features in 1.4

I think we were able to nail the bug. Please redownload again: http://www.ezoutlooksync.com/download/OutlAndrSync1.exe and reinstall. Would appreciate if you let us know whether the issue is fixed on your side. Thanks!

Yes. It is loading correctly now and the first sync has worked OK.

Have done a few more syncs, and with another phone as well. Seems to be working well now.
It would be very nice to have an editable path for the .pst file so I could put in an IP address. I will look out for that!

We tried to implement this feature in 1.4 but faced some unsolved (so far) technical obstacles. As a workaround you can click on the Browse button and enter path to the file the same way you'd enter it if the path to the file was editable from the main window.
