Ipod touch and more

Post by howdego »

My understanding of EZoutlooksync is as follows:

1. After the first synch initiated from the computer with the software installed, say A, computer A and computer B will both have the same contacts and calendar entries. This will be the sum of entries which previously existed individually on each computer. The calendars and contacts on each computer will appear visually as if their respective contents were put in by the computer owner.

2. Initial and subsequent incremental syncing is always initiated by computer A. Outlook on Computer A must be open, but Outlook on computer B may be open or closed, but idle.

3. After an Outlook-Outlook synch, I could initiate a synch between my IPOD Touch (latest version) and Outlook through Apple itunes as I do today, but will now get the combined calendar and contact data.

4. The program can be installed on a Vista Computer and synch with Outlook on a Win7 computer.

Can someone please verify these impressions and tell me where I am incorrect?

1. Only if you use a two- way synchronization method.
2. Outlook on computer A can be opened or closed. We recommend to have it closed. We also recommend that Outlook on computer B is closed.
3. Yes.
4. Yes.

Thanks!
