Error: Access Violation when completing installation

Am running Windows 7 (64 bit) with Outlook (32 bit). When downloading Outlook Android Sync i get the following error message when completing installation - "Error: Access Violation at 0x77CADF76 (tried to write to 0x00090FC0), program terminated." Hence unable to install - any suggestions to remedy?

I suppose you downloaded the latest 2.12 version? If yes, please mention your Outlook version number. Thanks.

I began getting the error Access violation at 0x77BF3C06 (tried to write to 0x000A0FFC), program terminated when trying to start Outlook-Android Sync today. I've been using version 1.56 just fine since 2015. This may have to do with my installing the latest version of Office, but I'm not sure.

I uninstalled and tried reinstalling as follows:

I'm running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and Outlook 2016 32-bit.

Are you getting the above mentioned error messages during the installation process or when the program is installed and you're trying to start it? I suppose you do use the 64-bit version of the program?

BTW We've released the new 3.0 version of Outlook-Android Sync. Please check it out and let us know if the problem is gone. Thanks!
